A Very Silent City

January 14 @ 14:0020:00

Are you a migrant of black descent or queer person with migration and settlement experience ? Have you navigated the slow and confusing bureaucracy of settling in Vienna ? We invite you to join a collective intervention – an evening of conversation, making and care with Nsasi, co-founding member of the anti-mass collective. Currently a student at Angewandte in Vienna, Nsasi’s research uses art and social design to make urgent issues tangible in the urban life reimagining resistance and resilience as collective, culture-led acts for more resilient urban futures.

This Wednesday at Palais-Roessl, drop by anytime.  Add your mark to a shared canvas by writing, painting, drawing, shouting or whispering.  To build together a public art piece and a community resource mapping contacts, support and lived knowledge for Black and queer people finding home in and settling Vienna.  Expect gentle conversation, collective sense-making and practical sharing all held in a safe supportive space. No art experience is needed and participation is voluntary. Stay as long as you like.
